The Raptors plan to trade Gradey Dick this summer as they look to create salary cap flexibility. The 22-year-old, selected 13th overall in the 2023 draft, averaged 6.0 points, 1.9 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 14 minutes per game over 76 appearances in the 2025-26 season. He shot just 30.1 percent from three-point range while Toronto sits less than $1 million over the luxury tax line with a crowded wing rotation that includes Ja'Kobe Walter.
Dick's role shrank noticeably after the All-Star break as Walter earned more opportunities. His three-point attempts have not produced efficient results on a roster that already lacks shooting creation. Trading him would let the front office avoid the tax apron without giving up higher-value pieces around Scottie Barnes, RJ Barrett and Brandon Ingram.
Toronto should pursue packages centered on 3-and-D wings or second-round picks, with the Pelicans and Clippers as logical trade partners. Dick has two years left on his rookie-scale contract, including a $7.13 million salary for 2026-27, which positions him as a low-risk addition for teams needing shooting depth.
