ESPN has flexed the Toronto Raptors at the Orlando Magic into its national broadcast on Jan. 30 at 7:30 p.m. ET. The game replaces Memphis-Oklahoma City on the schedule and will feature Paolo Banchero hosting Scottie Barnes in a matchup of two of the East's most intriguing young cores.
Banchero runs the Magic's frontcourt while Barnes creates for the Raptors. The prime-time showcase offers a midseason look at how both players' games have evolved and how their supporting casts have refined spacing and defensive schemes heading into the trade deadline and playoff push.
The timing provides a useful benchmark for two clubs still building toward sustained contention. National viewers will get an early read on which group has made the more meaningful adjustments by late January in the 2025-26 season.
