The deal is structured as an Exhibit 10 contract, which includes an invitation to Jazz training camp and a potential bonus of up to $91,000 if the player is waived before the regular season. The agreement also guarantees at least two months with the Salt Lake City Stars, Utah’s G League affiliate, giving the organization a low-risk way to evaluate Ingram’s fit within its system.
Ingram’s production in the G League was solid. Over 88 games with the Austin Spurs, he logged 33.3 minutes per contest while posting 14.3 points, 10.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.3 steals. Those numbers demonstrate his ability to contribute across the stat sheet and suggest he can be a reliable presence when called upon.
At the collegiate level, Ingram split three seasons between Stanford and North Carolina, earning third-team All-ACC honors as a junior and capturing a gold medal with Team USA at the 2021 FIBA Under-19 World Cup. His experience in both college and the G League provides a foundation for contributing both offensively and defensively in the Jazz system.
From a basketball standpoint, Ingram offers a forward who can rebound effectively and facilitate from the high-post. His rebounding rate in the G League indicates potential to bolster secondary rebounding, a need Utah has faced when its big men rotate. The passing ability shown in his assist numbers could be useful in pick-and-roll situations as the Jazz emphasize spacing and ball movement. He will need to earn a roster spot or a two-way contract during preseason, but the Exhibit 10 structure gives the Jazz flexibility to develop his game while keeping a cost-effective depth piece on hand.
