Victor Oladipo, the 34-year-old former Miami Heat guard, announced that he will hold a pro-day workout on Tuesday, July 14, in Las Vegas. The session is scheduled to take place while the NBA Summer League is in town, giving front offices, scouts and NBA personnel a live look at his conditioning and skill set.

In his most recent NBA season with Miami, Oladipo appeared in 42 games, shooting 39.7 % from the field and 33.0 % from three-point range. He averaged 10.7 points, 3.5 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game. Those numbers reflect a solid contribution for a veteran wing who was still producing at a respectable level before his hiatus.

After the 2022-2023 season, Oladipo spent time in China with the Guangzhou Loong Lions before joining the Milwaukee Bucks’ G League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd, for the 2025-2026 season. In 15 G League contests he logged 38.9 % field shooting, 32.9 % from three, and posted averages of 13.5 points, 3.8 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game. The G League performance showed that he can still be productive against professional competition despite limited NBA minutes in recent years.

Oladipo’s combination of size, ball-handling ability and defensive versatility makes him a candidate for clubs seeking a secondary playmaker who can also guard multiple positions. While his three-point percentages sit below the league average for wing players, his reputation for creating off the dribble and finishing at the rim adds value for teams that need wing depth without sacrificing defensive flexibility. His veteran experience, including an All-NBA selection in 2018 and two All-Star appearances, also provides mentorship potential for younger guards.

If the Las Vegas workout impresses, Oladipo could receive invitations to join a Summer League roster, earn a two-way contract, or be considered for a short-term deal later in the season. Teams will assess his health, conditioning and on-court impact before extending any formal offer. A veteran-minimum contract would be the most likely structure, reflecting his free-agent status and the market’s appetite for seasoned guards who can contribute immediately.
