The Utah Jazz hosted Duke forward Cameron Boozer for a pre-draft workout this week. Workouts for Kansas guard Darryn Peterson and BYU forward AJ Dybantsa are scheduled before next weekend, 11 days before the 2026 NBA Draft.
Boozer posted 22.5 points, 10.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game across 38 starts for Duke while shooting 55.6 percent from the field, 39.1 percent from three and 78.9 percent from the line. He measured 6-foot-9 with a 7-foot-1 wingspan and 253 pounds at the combine.
Boozer projects as a versatile forward who can initiate offense from the perimeter, finish inside and stretch defenses with his shooting. His combination of size, playmaking and efficiency gives Utah a potential two-way starter who can handle the ball in half-court sets without needing constant creation help.
Carlos Boozer's role in the Jazz front office adds a personal layer to the evaluation. The team sits at No. 2 overall and must weigh how the Washington Wizards use the top pick, with most projections pointing toward Dybantsa landing in Washington.
Peterson and Dybantsa will soon visit Salt Lake City for their own sessions. Those meetings will supply the final data points the Jazz need before finalizing their board for the June 23 draft.
Boozer's visit confirms the Jazz are narrowing their focus to three prospects who could each anchor the franchise's next phase.
